This was amazing! The chicken sausage gravy was so well seasoned, the eggs were fluffy. Overall this is a go to staple dish of mine that I would give at 10/10 every single time.

I had never been to Batter & Berries and was very impressed by its warm atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered the catfish and it was crunchy and flavorful. I don't normally like catfish but it was so good along with the rum French toast. I'm definitely coming back to try other dishes.

This was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is homey and comforting. I have never had French toast this good. I dream about it every night. It's crunchy and soft, sweet but not too sweet. It is the perfect combination of flavors.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Birthday Brunch Experience – June 7, 2026! On Sunday, June 7, 2026, I took my friend to the South Loop location of Batter & Berries to celebrate her birthday, and I cannot say enough great things about our experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our server, Ari, was absolutely phenomenal. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. Her professionalism, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for her guests made us feel welcomed and appreciated. To make the celebration even more special, Chiara, the manager, came to our table personally to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and to wish my friend a happy birthday. That level of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about the culture and leadership at this location. Chiara was kind, personable, and engaging, and her thoughtful gesture added a special touch that made our celebration even more memorable. The food was outstanding! The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Lobster Omelet paired with the famous Caramel French Toast, and both were incredible. The omelet was packed with flavor and fresh lobster, while the Caramel French Toast was rich, decadent, and easily one of the best I've ever had. My friend enjoyed the Sweet Potato Waffle with a side of Cheesy Hash Browns, and she couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. The waffle was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and unique, while the cheesy hash browns were the perfect complement. Between the amazing food, exceptional service from Ari, and the personal attention from Chiara, this birthday brunch exceeded our expectations in every way. Batter & Berries South Loop delivered not only a great meal but an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for outstanding food, generous portions, excellent customer service, and a team that truly cares about its guests, I highly recommend Batter & Berries South Loop. We will definitely be back!

The lemon French toast was amazing! Similar to lemon cake, but not as sweet, and not too tart, the perfect balance. Can definitely tell FRESH lemon was used. The candied walnuts were the PERFECT addition. Can't imagine having them without it. Will most definitely try again!!!!

The French toast flight was amazinggggggg! Best French toast I've tasted. My husband usually doesn't eat French toast but he loved these . Our favorite was the lemon flavor. Please try it out i won't disappoint.

The French toast flight is so delicious. It's strawberry, blueberry, lemon and caramel French toast. If you are a French toast lover like I am, you will definitely love this dish. The French toast is so delicious that you don't need maple syrup! They provide an infused syrup butter. 10/10!

I recently visited Batter & Berries and ordered the Steak Fajita Omelet at the South Loop location, and it was absolutely delicious! The omelet was flavorful, well-seasoned, and packed with tender steak and fresh ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and made to perfection. The customer service was also amazing — friendly staff, great atmosphere, and quick service. I can definitely see why this place is so popular. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
